The Young Athletes Program (YAP) introduces children ages 2β7 years to the joy and benefits of sports through simple, play-based activities. It builds basic skills like running, kicking and throwing while preparing them for formal sports participation at age 8.
As children grow, Developmental Sports offers an age-appropriate introduction to sport-specific skills for children ages 6β12 years, with and without intellectual disabilities.
Parents are trained to use easily available household items for activities, ensuring children can participate from home as well as in school or community settings.
